Isaiah 55:11 ~
So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Investments are tricky. When we chose to invest in something, we do so with a belief that there will be some sort of return on the investment. No one ever commits to an investment, giving of their time and resources, with a hope or plan of failure. Fortunately, we’ve been given a gift that will always return a strong investment. Isaiah 55:11 explains that the Word of God never returns empty and it always accomplishes its purposes. When you approach the Bible, do you believe it has that kind of guaranteed value in your life? When you study scripture, you catch a glimpse of the very purposes and character of God. He reveals His plan through the power of the Holy Spirit inside you, helping you grow and learn as you wrestle with the life-giving truth in its pages. Honor God’s Word and study as often as you can. Saturate your mind in it so, when the enemy comes, you will be able to combat anything he throws your way. The light of God’s Word overpowers the darkness every time. You have a powerful weapon in the Word of God. Pray, thanking God for the gift of His Word — it never returns void, and always accomplishing His purposes.
